Misha Sulpovar
Misha is a builder-strategist working at the intersection of AI systems, governance, and organizational transformation. He serves as Chief AI Officer at Foley Carrier Services, a DOT compliance SaaS company, where he leads enterprise AI transformation across product, engineering, and go-to-market.
He is also the WiseOwl at PromptOwl, a context engineering and governance platform, and a contributor to ContextNest, an open standard for addressable, governable AI context. Together they represent the “git vs GitHub” model for enterprise knowledge — versioned, structured, permissioned context that AI systems can actually trust.
He is the author of The AI Executive: Harnessing the Ungoverned Machine, a practical field guide for leaders navigating AI without losing control. His career spans IBM Watson, The Weather Company, ADP, and Cherre, where he built AI products at the intersection of regulated industries and emerging models.
Misha speaks regularly on context engineering, AI governance, agentic systems, and the operator’s view of enterprise AI transformation. He has presented at industry conferences, executive roundtables, and corporate offsites.
- The AI Executive's Handbook: Harnessing the Ungoverned Machine
A field guide for leaders governing generative AI in the enterprise — the frameworks behind everything I write here.
- ContextNest: Verifiable Context Governance for Autonomous AI Agents
Formalizes context governance — the layer beneath retrieval that decides which artifacts are approved, current, attributable, and integrity-verified. Two controlled experiments show governed selection Pareto-dominates sparse retrieval on stale-version attacks, and deterministic selectors eliminate the non-determinism of dense-vector search.
- The Second-Brain Stack — a get-started guide (PDF)
The stack to download, a setup prompt that onboards your AI like a chief of staff, and the full command vocabulary underneath — hand it straight to Claude or ChatGPT.
